Tired of waiting and clicking and waiting before you fly? So am I.
pmMSFSStartup takes Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 from the opening screen, through the world map, and into the cockpit – without you sitting there clicking. You set the departure once in its configuration file and leave it to get on with it.
It works by reading the screen and pressing the buttons you would have pressed. That is not elegant, and a simulator update can move a menu and stop it working – tell us when that happens. Prepar3D and X-Plane need none of this; they start you in the aircraft.
Not having found a better solution so far, it is what we use here. This is a first release and it is free, and feedback from anyone who tries it is very welcome.

While you are there, have a look at pmWideClient, our own network one-stop client, which reaches Prepar3D, X-Plane, Microsoft Flight Simulator and FlightGear as well – and at the updated Instructor Station, which now puts the instructor’s panel on a tablet or a phone in a browser, with nothing to install on them.
