pmWideClient – one client, every simulator
Project Magenta’s own network client, and it changes the game. It links the Project Magenta programs on this PC to a flight simulator running on another PC – in the place of WideClient – and it finds the simulator on your network by itself, connects with a single click, and holds the link so the cockpit keeps flying while the simulator restarts or loads a flight.

One client now talks to them all: FSX, Prepar3D V5 and V6, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12, and – since Build 40 – FlightGear; Build 41 completes FlightGear with the full engine and fuel indications. That last one matters: it puts a full Project Magenta cockpit in front of the free, open FlightGear simulator – the one the MATLAB/Simulink and university research world already builds on.

Standalone, no runtime to install, no third-party client to licence. This is a test release and your feedback is very welcome – tell us what you fly and how it goes.
