Iocards are a range of products build by some flight sim enthousiasts. The complete set of cards is available for download and DIY.... but you can also buy via the website the PCB's only or you can buy a kit consisting of the PCB and the needed components or you can buy the build up and tested cards. Prices are accordingly and are very reasonable.

Basic hardware :

     Mastercard : 72 inputs : 2 40pin headers where each header contains 4 groups of 9 inputs
                              and a common ground
                  45 outputs 1 40pin header with 38 inputs, common ground and 5V
                              1 9pin header (DB9) with 7 inputs, common ground and 5V
bus to connect max 4 display cards
external power 5V needed (can be taken from PC power supply)
     USB expansion :
connect upto 4 mastercards to one USB port in the PC
(external power not needed unless the 4 analogue inputs are used)
DisplayII card : second version display card (latest microcontroller firmware)
connect 16 7 segment displays to one display card (no dimming)
connect 15 7 segment displays to one display card (dimming via last digit)
each display card has an address set via a jumper in order to
connect 4 display cards to one mastercard
Connection cards : input connection : convert from screw terminals to 40 pin flatcable
which connects directly to the mastercard
output connection : convert from screw terminals to 40 pin flatcable
which connects directly to the mastercard
