Here are a few pics of the MCP going together. I am in the middle of typing up a "how I did it" now.
I am using Acrylic Sheeting to build the boxes. I wasn't sure about this but I am now that I am working with it.

How I Did It!
Well I went looking for a easy to work with material to build the boxes out of for the MCP and other avionics boxes I will need. After a lot of searching I came across Acrylic Sheeting. I bought some and a knife deigned for cutting it. I set out with none of the tools I knew I needed. Let me start out by saying if you are going to use this material make sure you have a good straight edge, a firm place to work, a good square and a little patience. My box is not square so after I get it all working I will have to remake it. The wood is for anchoring the panel and strength. I used hot melt and epoxy glue to hold it all together. The hot-melt is for temporary holding and the epoxy for strength. As you can see there wasn't a lot to it. What you see is what you get.
